The two most frequently used words to describe The Fellowship are the words “unique” and “special”. You may actually hear those words spoken in the same sentence. Perhaps people say that because of the free donuts and coffee. Maybe it has to do with the fact that everyone is wearing a nametag. That enables you to get to know people on a first name basis. It could be that everyone who enters the room is immediately greeted by smiling faces. It is obvious that they are glad that you came. It could be the room where we worship. The Zion Room is a beautiful room in the Desert Willow clubhouse. Perhaps it is the fact that Fellowship participants still appreciate and sing with energy the great hymns of the faith. Or maybe they like the Bible-based preaching that focuses on how God’s Word speaks to our everyday lives. It could be the informal setting of authentic worship that still respects the awesomeness of God. Some have even said that The Fellowship comes the closest to experiencing the church described in Acts 2. One thing you will not miss is this – here is a group of believers who love the Lord, love one another, and love the Greater Sun City MacDonald Ranch community.
